Our copper downpipes are the perfect companion to our guttering range, combining traditional craftsmanship with exceptional durability. Available in round or square profiles, each length is manufactured from high quality 0.6 mm architectural copper, offering a warm natural finish that will gracefully mature over time. No painting. No peeling. Just an honest, low maintenance material that develops character with every passing year and is designed to last for generations.
Materials & Durability
We manufacture our copper downpipes from premium architectural copper, selected for its outstanding corrosion resistance, strength and exceptionally long service life.
Exposure to the elements allows the copper to develop its own natural protective patina, gradually changing from its distinctive bright finish through rich bronze and chocolate tones before eventually reaching the beautiful verdigris greens associated with many historic buildings. This natural oxidation forms a durable protective layer that helps prevent further corrosion while giving every installation its own unique character.
Naturally resistant to rust, UV exposure and freeze thaw cycles, copper provides a robust, low maintenance rainwater solution that performs as beautifully as it looks. Whether installed on period properties, listed buildings, contemporary homes or bespoke architectural projects, copper continues to age with elegance, enhancing the appearance of the building for decades to come.

Each pipe is swaged at one end for a snug push-fit connection, no sealant or soldering required.

Fixing and Installation
Each downpipe should be fixed with at least three clips per 2.4 m length, or one every 1.5 metres, with one near the top, one at the bottom, and one in between.
Clips can be spaced further off the wall using our brass spacers to accommodate stonework, render or deep fascias. Spacers can be stacked for a total stand-off of up to 15 cm.
Downpipes can be cut on site using a hacksaw or metal nibblers. Always install with the swaged (female) end uppermost to keep a clean line and good water flow.
