COPPER HALF ROUND GUTTERING
Natural beauty meets lasting performance
Our copper half round guttering brings together the timeless aesthetic of natural copper with the engineering precision you demand. As it weathers, a patina gradually develops, lending your property character and protection in equal measure.
Materials & durability
-
We use high quality architectural copper (typically C101 / 99.9 % pure copper), selected for its excellent corrosion resistance, structural integrity and long service life.
-
Over time the copper surface develops a darkening patina (turning to greens and deeper tones), which acts as a protective oxide layer, inhibiting further corrosion.
-
Copper is inherently robust, meaning gutters resist cracking, warping or degradation from freeze / thaw cycles and UV exposure.

Size options & compatibility
-
We manufacture our half‑round gutter in two standard sizes: 125mm × 76mm (standard) and 165mm × 102mm (large)
-
All runs are made in 2.4m lengths to simplify transport and handling
-
The profile is compatible with a full range of matching components (stop‑ends, corners, outlets, brackets) so that installation is seamless.

RANGE OF COMPONENTS
Key features & benefits
-
Aesthetic appeal; the copper will develop a unique aged finish over time, giving character to heritage or contemporary architecture.
-
Long life; when maintained, copper guttering can last for many decades, outperforming many other metals.
-
Low maintenance; once patinated, surface upkeep is minimal with occasional rinsing to remove leaves or grit.
-
Complete system; we supply complementary items like bends, corners, outlets, brackets, and accessories to ensure the system is cohesive and watertight.
Performance & flow considerations
-
The round bottomed, half‑round profile is excellent at preserving self‑clearing flow: debris is less likely to block corners as the water follows the curve.
-
With the larger size option, you increase capacity to handle heavier rainfall, making it suitable for larger roofs or catchment areas.
-
We design our brackets and fasteners to suit standard rafter centres and fascia arrangements for ease of installation.
Is it difficult to install copper guttering?
Not at all. Copper guttering is installed in much the same way as other systems. We supply all the necessary components, and experienced installers can fit it with ease.
